Gus and Todd Anderson, along with their partners Phyllis and Dana Gallagher, joined together in 1983 to found Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards.
From the ground up, the Anderson's worked as a team to develop the vineyard, growing the grapes to begin producing what many have call a world-class style of wine. Today, the vineyard is licensed to produce upwards of 16,000 cases annually.
The first vintage to hit the market was the 1988 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. Within a few years, the critics showered the young winery with accolades and scores rating in the 90's.
Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards is located just east of St. Helena in the Napa Valley where Conn Creek flows out of Howell Mountain. Twenty-six acres of vineyards, divided into nine blocks, along with a fifteen acre-foot resevour are the heart of this 40-acre grape-growing paradise.
The vineyards not only enjoy Napa Valley's superb microclimate, but share the same Bale Loam Series as found on the famous Rutherford Bench. The combination of clay-loam soil and microclimate produces up to 106 plus tons of exceptional fruit per year.
